Darrynton Evans - Running Back

Evans had the play of the game with an incredible 35-yard touchdown run. Not only was it the play of the game but the best of preseason too. Evans finished second on the team in carries, with nine, and ran for 65 yards, most of the game for either team.

Evans had a 7.2 yards per carry average for the game, including the 35-yard touchdown. He also added eight yards receiving with one catch, on his lone target. For the preseason, Evans finished with 108 yards on 21 carries, a 5.14 yards per carry average.

Did he do enough to make the final roster, not likely given the three guys in front of him, James Cook, Damien Harris, and Latavius Murray but he could find his way onto the practice squad. The Buffalo Bills probably don't carry more than four running backs, if you count Reggie Gilliam as one. I see Gilliam as more of a FB/TE hybrid but there is simply nowhere in the running back room for Evans.
