5 Buffalo Bills who need to step up in Week 5 against the Jaguars

5.) Jordan Phillips
There has been no doubting the Bills front four in the trenches on defense this season. Led by Ed Oliver, the defensive line has been a top unit on the team. In order for the Bills to continue to have success against Trevor Lawrence, the interior pressure will have to be consistently present, which means Jordan Phillips will need to keep up the production that he has produced in four games. He has four tackles, one sack, and three quarterback hits.
WIth how well the Bills’ edge rushers have performed this season on the outside, if Philips can help force Lawrence outside of the pocket, it opens up an opportunity for Leonard Floyd or A.J. Epenesa to come down with the sack. In addition, the Jaguars like to run the ball, as Travis Etienne has carried the rock 69 times through four weeks.
While the offensive line for Jacksonville will be tired, the Bills will be able to keep their guys upfront refreshed with a rotation and Phillips could have a big impact on third downs.
