The majority of the drama, this offseason, is finally over. The Buffalo Bills now enter the real work, as it's time for the team to get into the thick of OTAs and prepare for training camp later this summer.

General manager Brandon Beane has finished most of his roster maneuvering, whether it be from the 2023 NFL Draft or the free agency period, and the depth chart looks pretty well set, for now. Of course, things could change if the Bills opted to make another signing or trade between now and the regular season.

But, for all intents and purposes, the roster looks pretty much in shape.

Now, looking ahead to the end of training camp and the regular season, we try and predict five particular Bills players who will end up being cut, not making it onto the final roster for Week 1.

Buffalo Bills players who will be cut before 2023 season: DT Eli Ankou

Back in November of 2021, the Bills signed veteran defensive tackle Eli Ankou after the Tennessee Titans cut him from their practice squad. Ankou has spent the last couple of years with Buffalo, mostly with the practice squad.

Going into the summer months, he has another uphill battle ahead of him if he wants to make the game day roster. The Bills' interior line, right now, consists of Ed Oliver, Daquan Jones, Tim Settle and, the one guy who makes it the toughest on Ankou, newly-signed Poona Ford. That was a signing the Bills desperately needed, and Ford's opportunity to bounce back from a tough 2022 season will likley spell the end of Ankou's time in Buffalo.

At this point, his best shot at sticking around is, again, on the practice squad. But, before the regular season gets here, he'll be cut from the active roster.
