3.) Running back - Latavius Murray

Signed as a free agent this offseason, Murray is a big back standing at 6’3” and 230 pounds who could be a great training camp body for the Bills as well as create competition in the backfield.

While he won’t be the Buffalo Bills go-to back, Murray can still run in between the tackles to pick up the hard yards to move the chains or put six points on the board. The Bills running back room is full as of now with Murray, James Cook, Damien Harris and Nyheim Hines.

It’s hard to believe that the Bills will go into 2023 with four running backs. Hines could be a cut candidate, but I also believe that Murray could be a cut candidate. What could save Hines from being cut is his ability to return kicks on special teams.

Murray would only serve the offense, but if the Bills like what they see out of Harris, Murray could be off the roster if he does not impress the staff during minicamp.
