5.) Running back - Nyheim Hines

The Bills traded for Hines at the trade deadline last season for running back Zack Moss and 2023 6th round draft pick. Hines was brought in to serve as the catch out of the backfield running back who could make a play on the outside.

Throughout the second half of the 2022 season, Hines was used more on special teams in which he was one of the reasons why the Bills beat the New England Patriots in week 18 with two kickoff touchdown returns. Ultimately, Hines ended his 2022 tenure with the Bills going for six carries for negative three yards as well as five catches for 53 yards and a touchdown.

With the Bills signing Damien Harris and Latavius Murray, Hines may be the odd man out. Along with that, the Bills also brought in speedster Deonte Harty from the New Orleans Saints who can easily take over the kickoff and punt returns if he shines in camp.

Hines could be at a disadvantage going into minicamp, so he will need to impress the coaching staff in order to not be listed as a cut candidate.
