2.) James Cook - Running Back

Devin Singletary is out and James Cook is set to take over the running game for the Bills. Drafted in the second round in 2022, Cook was brought in to bring in production not just on the ground, but out of the backfield on the receiving end as well.

His first carry in his first game last year against the Los Angeles Rams resulted in a fumble and Cook was limited after that. Down the stretch of last season, Cook saw more time and more production. He finished last season with 507 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Cook will be part of a committee with Damien Harris and possibly Latavius Murray this season. Luckily for Cook, Harris and Murray are only on one-year deals with an inexpensive financial commitment. Cook will have the opportunity to build off of his rookie season and take the running responsibilities off of Josh Allen’s shoulders.

If Cook can grow as a pass-catching back, that will create a new option for Allen in the passing game.
