3.) Kaiir Elam - Cornerback

When the Bills drafted Elam in 2022 out of Florida, he was viewed as the potential cornerback one in replacement of Tre’Davious White who was recovering from a torn ACL in 2021. Elam improved as the 2022 season progressed, but there were shaky times in his rookie season.

At one point, Elam was questioned as to whether or not he would see the field at times. He played in 13 games and only started in 6 in which he allowed a 70 percent completion rate when he was targeted. He was able to secure two interceptions on the season as well.

With White getting a full offseason to take back his starting corner start, the second cornerback position is Elam’s to lose more than likely. The Bills’ secondary will finally have White, Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer back on the field for the first time since November of 2021. If Elam can step up and learn from the veterans, the outfield of the Bills’ defense should be scary for opposing offenses.
