The Buffalo Bills are close to filling out their 90-man roster, and very soon will begin the task of finding their final 53 for the start of the 2024 NFL season. Here are five players that might not make it past cut-down day.

Eli Ankou - Defensive Tackle

The Bills were busy this offseason rebuilding the interior of their defensive line with free agent additions Austin Johnson and DeShawn Williams and then selecting DeWayne Carter in the third round, as the backup to Ed Oliver. With Ed Oliver and DaQuan Jones as the starters, that doesn't leave much room for Eli Ankou on the 53-man roster. I could just as easily see Williams getting cut as well.

Ankou is 29 years old and has been in the league since 2017. Since coming into the league, he's played in only 34 games, with three starts in seven years. He's been on six different teams and has a career 2.5 sacks. He's just never been able to stick on a team or earn many opportunities on the field, and unfortunately, I don't think that changes this year with the Bills.
