Khalil Shakir

The Dallas Cowboys have two excellent outside cornerbacks right now in Stephon Gilmore and DaRon Bland that will likely be covering Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. However, an area that the Bills can have some success is against their nickel corner.

The Cowboys have struggled to defend slot receivers with players like Jaxon Smith-Njigba having seven receptions for 62 yards, Curtis Samuel catching nine receptions for 100 yards and Adam Thielen bringing in eight receptions for 74 yards against Dallas in recent weeks.

This could be a week that Khalil Shakir is a primary target for Josh Allen as they try to take advantage of a weakness in the Cowboys' secondary. Shakir has had some big games recently, like his 92 yard game against the Bucs and 115 receiving yards and a touchdown against the Jets.

Last week against the Chiefs, he had only one reception for 12 yards and was on the field for only 61% of the snaps. When taking into account Kincaid dealing with some injuries, along with the Cowboys struggles, Shakir should see 5+ targets this week and be productive.
