5 Buffalo Bills on offense who are destined for the practice squad

The Buffalo Bills have two quarterbacks competing for the backup spot as Kyle Allen struggled against the Colts to then have Matt Barkley struggle against the Steelers the next week. This final preseason game will decide who is the backup but also decides who makes the 53-man roster.

Even though the NFL made a rule change for the position in terms of gameday rosters, it doesn't make sense for the Bills to keep three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster. They traditionally have had only two and that doesn't change this year.

However, which ever player doesn't win that spot then will almost certainly try to be re-signed back to the practice squad. This is a prediction but I believe that it will be Kyle Allen who will backup Josh Allen this season while Matt Barkley is the quarterback on the practice squad.
