5 Buffalo Bills who lost the game in Week 5 against Jaguars
James Cook
The run game as a whole wasn't very good against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which was surprising due to how effective they were to begin the season. There is a case that all three running backs should be on this list but James Cook has emerged as the featured running back and is why he is on this list.
The second-year running back made some plays as a receiver with three receptions for 25 yards but was a non-factor on the ground. He finished the game with five rushing attempts, most of any Bills running backs, but finished with -4 rushing yards. The longest run he had was for only five yards against the Jaguars.
The Bills have scored 30 or more points in three straight games and one of the reasons was the way the run game was able to complement the passing game. The Buffalo Bills are never going to be a run-first offense but they need more from their running backs.
