Kingsley Jonathan

The Buffalo Bills are beginning the season with their top pass rusher Von Miller on the PUP list. This opened a roster spot for Kingsley Jonathan, who had an excellent preseason and earned the spot on the 53-man roster.

The former Syracuse Orange defensive lineman was with the Buffalo Bills last summer but was released prior to the season. He would be claimed by the Chicago Bears and appeared in five games before being released and returning to Buffalo to appear in one regular season game.

The Bills brought Jonathan back this summer and he was one of five defensive ends the team has on the 53-man roster. The coaching staff likes to rotate at the position but typically only keep four active on game day. It is hard to imagine Kingsley Jonathan moving ahead of Shaq Lawson at this point and barring an injury, Jonathan's opportunity to play this regular season will be limited.
