Eli Ankou

One position that is almost certainly going to look different by the time the season starts compared to now is defensive tackle. The reason is that the Bills only have three currently under contract with Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, and Eli Ankou.

This is a position that probably gets addressed through free agency and the NFL Draft but Ankou has a good chance to be part of the rotation regardless what moves are made. He has been in the league since 2017 and has had 13 stops with 10 different franchises.

The Bills originally signed him during the 2021 offseason but released him before the season. He would return during the season and played five games with nine tackles and one sack. The past two seasons he has spend a majority of the time on the team's practice squad.

While he doesn't have much experience, when given the chance he has played well. This might finally be the season that he gets a chance to begin the season on the 53-man roster.
