Terrel Bernard

The Buffalo Bills for the second week in a row lost a key part of their defense as Matt Milano suffered a serious leg injury after Tre'Davious White suffered a season-ending Achilles injury last week against the Miami Dolphins. Milano has been one of the best linebackers in the NFL and has taken on a bigger role with Tremaine Edmunds leaving in the offseason.

The Bills are going to need another player to step up with Milano out and that player appears to be Terrel Bernard. The second-year linebacker has been making huge plays over the past few weeks leading up to this game with two sacks, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries.

In Week 5 against the Jaguars, Bernard didn't have any of those splash plays but he was flying to the ball. He finished the game as the leading tackler with 16 total tackles and the Bills are going to need more of that moving forward as there are questions about who might replace Matt Milano moving forward.
