Kyle Allen
One of the emerging storylines out of the Buffalo Bills training camp over the past few days has been the struggles of Kyle Allen. The Bills signed Allen this offseason to replace Case Keenum after he spent last season with the Houston Texans.
On Monday, Sean McDermott spoke with the media and was asked about Kyle Allen. However, he didn't seem overly concerned and noted that he is still trying to learn the offense.
According to Thad Brown, McDermott noted that getting him reps is the important thing right now. There isn't a better chance to do that than in the game against the Indianapolis Colts as the Bills shouldn't have Josh Allen taking any snaps in the first game.
The Buffalo Bills coaching staff should be willing to let him play at least a half in this game to try and show he can run this offense. If not, they may want to explore free agent options before the regular season.
