The Buffalo Bills are set to kick off their preseason schedule on Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts. It will be the first game of the 2023 season and also the only preseason game this year at Highmark Stadium.

The first preseason game is typically one in that most starters are held out, or play very little, and instead gives the coaching staff to begin to evaluate players a little further down the depth chart.

When looking ahead to this game, the Buffalo Bills have a few younger players who are in line to be starters that would benefit from more playing time before the games matter in the regular season.
