3.) Trent Sherfield
When the Bills managed to bring Trent Sherfield in free agency, there were members of the Miami Dolphins, Sherfield’s former team, who expressed frustration that Sherfield was heading up north to a division rival.
However, it seems as if Sherfield has not been utilized correctly in this offense. He has only 6 catches for 44 yards. The Bills’ passing attack has been surrounded by the presence of Stefon Diggs, Dalton Kincaid, Gabe Davis, and even flashes of both Deonte Harty and Khalil Shakir.
Even though Sherfield is not near the top of the depth chart, a 6 ‘1 receiver in the middle of the field could have been beneficial for the Bills through the first eight weeks.
