The Buffalo Bills are likely going to have one new starting wide receiver as Gabe Davis seems to be set to leave in free agency this offseason. He has been their starter for most of the past three seasons and will command a sizable contract that the Bills won't have the room to match.

Shakir should benefit from this with an increase in targets but he isn't an outside wide receiver like Davis. One of the things Davis did really well was run blocking on the outside and was one of the reasons that he played over 90% of the snaps in 2023.

Last offseason, the Bills drafted wide receiver Justin Shorter in the fifth round but the rookie didn't play at all this past season due to injuries. He is a big wide receiver at 6'4" and 223 pounds that would be the best option to replace Davis but it also would be surprising if the team didn't add another wide receiver at some point before the 2024 season.
