Between now and when the Buffalo Bills take the field for the 2024 season, the roster is going to look very different. While the front office may not have much in terms of cap space there undoubtedly will be moves and there will be players who were with the team, that won't be returning.

When looking at the roster and the players set to be free agents, these are five players who could find themselves in much bigger roles in 2024 compared to last season.

Khalil Shakir

The first player is one that won't see his role increase directly because of a player leaving but more so with how he finished the year. In the five final games of the 2023 season, including the playoffs, he caught 23 of 25 targets for 264 receiving yards with a touchdown in each of the two playoff games.

For a few seasons now, the Bills have been looking for a slot receiver to replace Cole Beasley who can be a sure-handed target for Josh Allen. Shakir definitely showed that in the final part of the season and should enter the season by being on the field for most of the offensive snaps.
