When do the Buffalo Bills play their divisional games?

The last thing that is important to take note of for the Buffalo Bills when the 2023 schedule is announced will be when they play their divisional games. Last year, the Bills had only one divisional game in the first six weeks but unfortunately, that game was in Miami where the heat played a factor in that game.

It wouldn't be until later in the season when the Bills would play a majority of their divisional games as they had four games against AFC East opponents in the final six weeks of the season.

The fact that the games were so late in the season created some suspense as the Buffalo Bills would lose their first two AFC East games, in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins and then Week 8 against the New York Jets. However, the team would respond and win the final four divisional games and help them secure their third straight AFC East title.

This season, the Buffalo Bills should still be considered the favorite in the AFC East but it does appear that teams like the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins have closed the gap. If the NFL puts a majority of the divisional games towards the end of the season, it could be a while before the Bills can officially claim another AFC East title.
