Will the Buffalo Bills kick off the season for a second year in a row?

Last year, the Buffalo Bills kicked off the 2022 season on the road against the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. It was a marquee game and one that the Bills won easily by a final score of 31-10.

This season, the opening game of the 2023 season will be played in Kansas City Chiefs after they won the most recent Super Bowl over the Philadelphia Eagles. This first game of the season is one that the NFL tries to generate as much buzz as possible and hopefully an exciting game for fans to watch.

The NFL will certainly have plenty of options for this opening game from a potential Super Bowl rematch with the Philadelphia Eagles, a potential AFC Conference Championship rematch with the Cincinnati Bengals, or a divisional matchup with the Denver Broncos or Los Angeles Chargers.

However, a matchup with the Buffalo Bills can't be overlooked as the two teams have had some excellent games recently. This past season, the Bills won 24-20 over the Chiefs after a late touchdown pass from Josh Allen to Dawson Knox and then of course there was the playoff matchup from the 2021 season where Buffalo lost in overtime.

The NFL will have plenty of options for that opening game to give fans an exciting matchup and the Buffalo Bills very well could end up playing that first game of the season for the second year in a row.
