4.) Buffalo Bills defensive line stood out

While the Bills’ defense has questions in the secondary and at linebacker, their defensive line was arguably the strongest unit throughout the preseason. Players like Boogie Basham and Tim Settle not only impressed in training camp but also disrupted opposing offenses at times, especially in the first preseason game against the Colts.

Led by Ed Oliver and DaQuan Jones, this defensive line looks like they have been working hard to improve the inconsistency that has occurred in prior seasons. With the middle linebacker position up in the air, Bills fans might see the defensive line having to cause pressure upfront to make the defense flow better which can be a lot to ask for.

In addition, this was a preseason that did not feature Von Miller who is still rehabbing a torn ACL, but is trending up for the season. The Bills will have a tough decision to make on whether or not to activate him for week one against the Jets.
