Buffalo Bills hold the New York Jets to under 250 total yards of offense

The New York Jets have not had much success on offense this season with the third fewest points per game at only 16. This is not what they expected when they traded for Aaron Rodgers but after his injury in Week 1 against the Bills, Wilson has done just enough to hold onto the starting job.

The former first round pick has thrown for more yards recently with 250+ passing yards each of the past two games but has no touchdowns and one interception. He is being asked to throw it more as the run game hasn't been nearly as effective and has had nearly 80 pass attempts in the past two weeks.

While Wilson has beaten the Bills the past two times he has played them, the winning formula is to have him throw the ball more. This week the Bills should establish the run, and build an early lead which forces the Jets to play catch up. If they can do that, it opens more opportunities for the pass rush to get after Wilson and the Bills defense can be in a position to have a dominant performance by holding the Jets under 250 total yards.
