5.) James Cook has over 100 receiving yards

There is no doubt that the Jets have a stellar defense and part of the reason why is because of their secondary that is led by cornerback Sauce Gardner. Gardner himself had two interceptions and 20 passes that he batted down which helped him secure himself as a lockdown corner.

The defense was able to secure 11 interceptions. When they were not picking off passes, the defense was rushing the quarterback to get the sack in which they racked up 38 sacks.

The Bills’ receiving core, led by Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis will have a tough challenge on their hands. Hence why second-year running back James Cook who can catch out of the backfield should be heavily involved in the passing game on the outside.

Cook was praised during training camp for his route-running abilities and will now have the chance to demonstrate that now that the games count. While the Bills should not rely on their running back to get involved in the passing game, Cook has the talent to break away down the sideline and be a major contributor for the passing offense.
