5 bold predictions for Buffalo Bills preseason game against the Colts

1.) Kyle Allen wins the backup quarterback position

The Bills have had a rotation of backup quarterbacks throughout the Josh Allen era, but Kyle Allen has been a personal friend with Josh which includes them training together in the offseason before Kyle arrived in Buffalo.

While it is more than likely that Kyle is the backup heading into this season, this game should give him the chance to solidify that by being able to make big plays for the Bills offense. The Bills have good depth throughout the roster so it will be up to Allen to show off his talents, as well as help his playmakers succeed. 

With his competition in Matt Barkley, he has not been on the main roster a lot the last two seasons and there is speculation that it will be a third year of this happening. However, if Allen does indeed struggle, don’t rule out the possibility of an actual backup competition or even bringing someone else into the mix.
