5.) O’Cyrus Torrence shines in ongoing right guard competition
In a right guard battle between the second-round rookie Torrence and veteran Ryan Bates, who has been with the Bills since 2019, has been back and forth. This competition may come down to the wire or it may be won early on. The rookie guard from the University of Florida has played with the first-team throughout training camp and has turned heads early on.
Torrence will be featured on the offensive line in the Bills’ preseason game. Now whether that is with the ones or the twos, Torrence will make a great impact by keeping up his streak of not allowing a sack in a football game. In addition, Torrence will also be watched when it comes to his run blocking and creating the holes for yards to be picked up on the ground.
Even though the right guard battle continues, Torrence should take the lead on the battle after the first game.
