It is officially game week for the Buffalo Bills, even if it is just preseason. Even though these preseason games don’t count towards a final record standing, they still matter when it comes to solidifying position battles and seeing who ends up making the week one roster (not to mention, Bills football is officially back as well).

The Bills will start their unofficial 2023 season against the Indianapolis Colts this Saturday in Orchard Park. After that, they will hit the road the last two preseason games to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears.

While it is possible to see the projected starters play for a drive, expect the backups to get the rest of the playing time. Frankly, the Bills should not even play specific starters. One factor to keep in mind is that there are indeed competitions between various players for different positions.

As the Buffalo Bills set to face the Colts, here are five bold predictions for the first preseason game.
