Can Christian Benford lock down the CB2 position?

Benford was my guy since training camp in 2022. All the reports coming out of camp talked about how he was impressing coaches and teammates with his play. All he did his rookie year was beat out first-round pick Kaiir Elam for the right start in the season opener and now he's done it again.

My concern is if Coach McDermott will allow him to stay in as the full-time CB2, or will he rotate the position similar to what he did last season? I believe that had Benford not suffered the season-ending injury last year, he would have taken hold of the corner position. Fast forward to this season and we'll see if he can lock it down and become a solid number two opposite Tre'Davious White.

Benford should have plenty of opportunities to make some plays too, as most quarterbacks will likely avoid throwing it in White's direction, especially if White shows he is back to his old self. Will Benford take advantage of those opportunities and make the Jets pay?
