2.) Will the Buffalo Bills be able to build up a run game?

The Bills displayed more of a pass attack than a run game against the Colts. Their leading rusher was Jordan Mims who had seven carries for 23 yards. Expected season starter James Cook only carried the ball four times for 20 yards and the game’s first touchdown.

Both Latavius Murray and Darrynton Evans rushed for a combined 11 carries and 36 yards. With a reported knee injury to Damien Harris, that will also be a situation to monitor going into this Saturday.

The NFL knows the Bills are a pass-first team, but a run game still needs to be established, even if it is just preseason. This has been an area of concern for the Bills for many seasons now and it will be up to Ken Dorsey to get a consistent run game going for the Bills this season.

While the expected running backs of Cook, Harris and Murray are expected to make the roster, the Bills will also need to help develop the other backs throughout the preseason and have them show what damage they can do on the ground.
