4.) Will Tyrel Dodson redeem himself for the open linebacker spot?
Near the end of training camp, the ongoing linebacker competition between Tyrel Dodson and Terrel Bernard took a turn when Bernard suffered a hamstring injury just two days before the preseason home opener.
That gave Dodson a golden opportunity to potentially run away with the vacated linebacker position that the Bills are looking to fill. However, that was not the case for Dodson against the Colts. With a more underwhelming performance this past Saturday, there is an argument to be made that this linebacker competition is far from over.
Even though Dodson did not have the best performance, he should have another opportunity to bounce back for the better. With the status of Bernard still unknown as to when he can return for action, Dodson will get another chance to prove why he should be the starting middle linebacker.
Although, if Dodson is not able to impress, this could be very concerning going into week one against the New York Jets.
