Can Kaiir Elam turn his preseason around?

There is a case to be made that Kaiir Elam might have had the most disappointing preseason of any player on the Buffalo Bills. Last year's first round pick entered training camp with expectations that he would be the starter opposite Tre'Davious White and solidify the cornerback position.

However, he appears to be passed on the depth chart by not just Dane Jackson, who looks to be the starter, but also Christian Benford. Both players have been more consistent over the past few weeks while Elam has struggled, particularly with penalties. He has been called for defensive pass interference in both games.

While Jackson may be the starter to begin the year, it is a long season and Elam could certainly work his way into the starting lineup at some point. However, he will certainly need to improve his play and this game could be his final opportunity to prove that in extended snaps.
