Free agents to give Buffalo Bills embarrassment of riches after NFL Draft: Jarvis Landry, WR
The slot position has been in flux for the Bills since the height of Cole Beasley's tenure with the organization. There have been quite a few guys who the Bills have experimented with, such as Isaiah McKenzie, Jamison Crowder, Khalil Shakir, and of course Beasley.
One of the more savvy veterans out there, still available, is 30-year-old Jarvis Landry. Four years younger than Jones, it's hard to beleive Landry wouldn't have some good football left in him. Last year with the Saints, he dealt with injury and New Orleans' quarterback situation was horrendous.
If healthy, Landry is far more capable in the slot than some of the guys Buffalo has had over the past two seasons. He's not old, by any. means, but Landry has not been in the greatest of situations for a few years now. Let's not forget, this is a guy who has a pair of 100-reception seasons under his belt. At one point, he made five Pro Bowls in a row.
There is no reason why Landry shouldn't get a shot within a Super Bowl-driven franchise this coming year. Should it be in Buffalo? We'll see.
