Emmanuel Ogbah
Emmanuel Ogbah also had a pre-draft visit with the Buffalo Bills but his was back in 2016 before the NFL Draft. It is a little different than Armstrong because that pre-draft visit was prior to Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane.
Of the four players, Ogbah is the oldest and would likely be only a one or two year option for the Bills. He has played eight seasons in the NFL, including with the Miami Dolphins the past four years. However, he was released last month by the Dolphins and doesn't have to wait until free agency to sign with his next team.
In his eight seasons, Ogbah has never had double digit sacks in a year but did have nine twice (2020 and 2021) and had over 20 quarterback hits each of those seasons. The past two years haven't been as productive with only 6.5 sacks and 16 QB hits total and the decline in performance was one of the reasons he was released.
When considering that the Bills only have their defensive ends play around 40% of the defensive snaps, Ogbah could be in the perfect situation to get back to being that effective pass rusher who can disrupt quarterbacks.
