Clelin Ferrell

Clelin Ferrell was the fourth overall pick by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2019 NFL Draft and at the time was considered one of the biggest reaches that year. That instant reaction has held true as Ferrell really hasn't made much of an impact in his five years in the NFL.

In his NFL career, he has only 13.5 sacks, 45 QB hits, and 21 tackles for a loss but this past season was his best year of his career. It was the first season he wasn't playing for the Raiders but actually was on the 49ers and would start every regular season game.

There is no question that Ferrell may be considered a 'bust' for the Raiders, he showed he can be productive in the right defense and when surrounded by talented players. The Buffalo Bills certainly have that and he could be a good fit as part of a rotation.

There is also a connection between Ferrell and the Bills coaching staff in assistant defensive line coach in Matt Edwards, who was defensive assistant and pass rush specialist with the Raiders in 2022. That would be Ferrell final season with the Raiders.
