The 2023 NFL Trade Deadline is only a few days away and the Buffalo Bills are going to be buyers as they look for ways to improve the roster in hopes of making a deep playoff run. However, if they are to trade for any players they are going to have to create a roster spot to add that player.

One way they could create that spot is by trading away former first round pick Kaiir Elam. On Saturday, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler hinted at the fact that Elam could be on the trade block and has garnered some trade interest.

The Buffalo Bills selected Elam in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft but he has not panned out the way the team had hoped. He has now been a healthy scratch for five of the first eight games games and in the three games he was active, due to injuries, he struggled as he allowed 10 receptions in those games.

This past week, the Buffalo Bills elected to have Josh Norman (who they just signed as a free agent) to be active over Elam so this news by Fowler should not be much of a surprise. The challenge now is to find a team that could be interested in Elam and believes he fits their defense better as a press man cornerback.

These are four teams that could be a good fit for Kaiir Elam and the Buffalo Bills might be able to work out a trade.
