James Smith-Williams

The Washington Commanders' defensive line is one of the best in football and is a challenge for most offensive lines in the league. They have four first round picks with Daron Payne, Jonathan Allen, Chase Young and Montez Sweat.

The Commanders will likely rotate these players during the course of the game to keep them fresh but when Young or Sweat come off the field the offensive line can't let up. The reason being they have another good pass rusher in James Smith-Williams.

Smith-Williams was a seventh round pick by Washington in 2020 and has appeared in 44 games over the past four seasons. Last year, he would start 14 games and finished with three sacks but 16 QB hits. He has continued that strong play into this season as he has two QB hits and one sack through two games.

The Bills are going to have a challenge protecting Josh Allen and it will be up to Ken Dorsey to put together a game plan that gets the ball out quickly and help his offensive line.
