Buffalo Bills can be patient with Von Miller
The biggest question at defensive end for the Buffalo Bills has been when Von Miller will be ready to contribute. He suffered a torn ACL on Thanksgiving last season and has been rehabbing to get in a position where he can return to this defense.
The former All-Pro has been very confident that he will be ready for Week 1 of the season but now with Floyd on the roster, the coaching staff has the benefit of being patient with Miller. They don't necessarily need to rush him back. Even when he is back they have a player that can shoulder some snaps that would allow Von Miller to ramp up the work versus stepping right back into his full snap count.
The two players know each other well as they were on the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl team in 2021 and were very productive in the playoffs with a combined six sacks in four games. If the Bills want to have both on the field together, there won't be much of a learning curve as they are familiar with each other.
