Josh Allen vs. Josh Allen

You'll have to focus to understand this section.

While the Bills have an offensive superstar in Josh Allen, the Jaguars have a defensive superstar in Josh Allen.

The last time Buffalo played the Jaguars, they were defeated 9–6 in a game that should have been a cakewalk. In the 2021 season, the Jaguars won only three games and one of them happened to be against Buffalo — thanks to Josh Allen.

The Jaguars fifth-year pass rusher, also named Josh Allen, had eight tackles, one sack, an interception and a fumble recovery against the Bills in 2021. The performance was part of Allen's second season with at least seven sacks — a number that he is bound to eclipse again this season, considering he's already gotten to the opposing quarterback on six occasions through the first four games.

Fortunately for the Bills version of Josh Allen, the team's offensive line has seemingly improved its play since the previous matchup between these two teams, but with a lot left for the unit to prove, there is a chance that Allen makes Allen's life difficult once again.

Did you catch all of that?
