Buffalo Bills defense was dominant

Bernard was a big part of the dominance by the Bills defense but as a whole, the team was incredible and simply dismantled the Commanders. Washington had no answer for the Bills pass rush, giving up nine sacks. which included 1.5 each from DaQuan Jones and Ed Oliver, along with Bernard's two. Leonard Floyd added two of his own as well.

The Bills defense added ten tackles for a loss, five passes defensed and 15 hits on the quarterback. They also recorded interceptions from Bernard, Micah Hyde, Tre'Davious White and a fourth from A.J. Epenesa, which was returned for a pick six. They also added a forced fumble, for five total turnovers.
