Defensive End

Among the four positions on this list, the defensive end has the most talent still available with some big name players like Frank Clark, Yannick Ngakoue, and Jadeveon Clowney still free agents. The Buffalo Bills have invested a lot to improve the pass rush over the years and with how often they rotate at the position, more depth wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

The biggest hurdle for the Bills will certainly be limited cap space but this could become more of a pressing need depending on how far along Von Miller is in his recovery from the ACL injury suffered against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. If Miller is not able to go for the beginning of the season, or if the coaching staff wants to limit his work early, they have players still out there that could be considered starters for this defense.

In addition to Miller's recovery, the Bills' urgency to address the position could be determined by how players like A.J. Epenesa and Boogie Basham look during the offseason workouts. The Bills have been hoping these two players could be bigger parts of the rotation and while Epenesa had a career high 6.5 sacks, neither player has shown they can be very consistent.
