Middle Linebacker

The one position on the roster that doesn't have a clear answer at starter is middle linebacker. The Bills have decided to create as much competition as possible to replace Tremaine Edmunds with upwards of five linebackers competing for that spot.

This group includes Tyrel Dodson, A.J. Klein, last year's third round pick Terrel Bernard, last year's seventh round pick Baylon Spector, and this year's third round pick Dorian Williams. However, outside of Klein no linebacker in this group has more than five career starts.

General manager Brandon Beane has made it clear at this point that they don't foresee adding any additional linebackers and want to see how the competition plays out. However, it is possible they could re-evaluate after OTAs and minicamp and potentially add another veteran linebacker prior to training camp.
