Anthony Schwartz

The Cleveland Browns have made a number of changes at wide receiver this offseason after trading for Elijah Moore and then selecting Cedric Tillman in the 2023 NFL Draft. One player who could be lost in the shuffle is Anthony Schwartz and would seem to be on the roster bubble entering training camp.

Schwartz was a third round pick by the Browns in 2021 but has played sparingly over the two seasons in Cleveland. For his career, he has 14 receptions, 186 receiving yards and one touchdown.

While he hasn't made an impact with the Browns, Schwartz is an interesting player for this offense because the Buffalo Bills could always use more speed at the position. The scouting report for the former Auburn wide receiver highlights the speed he possesses and outside of Deonte Harty the Buffalo Bills don't have any wide receivers that can challenge defenses deep.

Unlike the other players on this list, if Anthony Schwartz was released the Buffalo Bills would likely try to sign him to the practice squad versus the 53-man roster. It would give him time to learn the offense and probably be more of a factor in the second half of the year.
