4 players the Buffalo Bills could have drafted instead of Boogie Basham

Creed Humphrey

If the Buffalo Bills wanted to draft a center the better pick would have been Creed Humphrey, who went two picks after Boogie Basham. The former Okhaloma Sooner has been a starter for the Kansas City Chiefs for the past two seasons and has started every regular season game to date.

Humphrey not only has been a quality starter but has been one of the best centers in the league by finishing third in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting in 2021 and then making the Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro last season.

If the Bills drafted Creed Humphrey it likely would have changed the moves the team made last offseason. The level that Humphrey has played at would have probably given the team the option to make a switch last year and not re-sign Mitch Morse. That move would have created more cap space for the team last year as well as this year.
