4 pass rushers the Bills could target in the first round of 2024 NFL Draft
The focus is squarely on the wide receiver position for the Buffalo Bills and it definitely makes a lot of sense. However, another position that could be on the radar for general manager Brandon Beane and the front office in the first round is defensive end.
This offseason the Bills were able to re-sign A.J. Epenesa to a new two-year deal but questions still remain at the position. The defense would lose their leader in sacks in Leonard Floyd and while Von Miller is set to return after re-negotiating a new contract, it remains to be seen how much he can contribute. This past season he was nowhere near the All-Pro caliber pass rusher after suffering a torn ACL the year prior.
Even if Miller does bounce back this season, it would make sense for the Bills to want to add some youth to the position. These are four defensive ends that make sense for them to target in the first round.

Laiatu Latu
Laiatu Latu had a Top-30 visit with the Buffalo Bills, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, and it is clear the Bills have interest. Rightfully so as Latu is one of the top pass rushers in this year's draft class with 23.5 sacks over the past two seasons.
The only reason that Latu would be in discussion for the Bills to select him at 28 is due to some neck injuries he suffered during college. It was recommended to him to "medically retire" after having neck fusion surgery. Latu decided to continue playing football and would transfer from Washington to UCLA.
According to Latu at the NFL Combine, he said "no teams have talked about any kind of concern" in regards to the injury. It remains to be seen whether this has an impact on where he is drafted but if he does slide in the first round, that slide should stop with Buffalo.
