Darrynton Evans

Darrynton Evans was a third round pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2020 NFL Draft. He would appear in only five games as a rookie due to a hamstring injury suffered during the season. Unfortunately, injuries would be an issue again in his second season and he played in only one game while landing on injured reserve twice.

Evans was released after the season and played last year with the Chicago Bears. He appeared in six games and had 14 carries for 64 yards.

While Evans is not the receiver that Hines is, he does have some experience on kickoffs with 10 career returns. The biggest concern for Evans has always been his health as he has yet to play more than 10 games in any season he has been in the NFL.

Darrynton Evans certainly has an advantage being with the Bills for a workout but it is far from a guarantee.
