The Buffalo Bills ended their offseason workouts this past week but for the front office, their work should continue through the summer. General manager Brandon Beane has done a good job re-tooling this roster without having to do a complete teardown.

In just a few short months, they have almost an entirely new wide receiver group as well as at safety. The Bills have also been able to add depth at key positions like along the defensive line that should help them deep into the 2024 season.

However, there are still a number of talented players looking for new teams this upcoming season that could really help complete this roster. The Bills shouldn't wait much longer to add some of the names on this list.

Richie James

The Buffalo Bills currently have 13 wide receivers on the roster as they have decided the best approach to replacing Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis is to create as much competition as possible. While Richie James is technically a wide receiver, he wouldn't factor into the offense as much. The former Kansas City Chief would be a better fit for a position that doesn't have a clear answer at this point and that is as a return specialist.

The top options for punt returner currently on the roster are Khalil Shakir or rookie Daequan Hardy while on kickoffs it is probably Ty Johnson. However, James has experience returning both with 95 punt returns for an average of 7.9 yards per punt and 56 kickoff returns for an average of 22.6 yards per kickoff.
