Tee Higgins

Tee Higgins was set to be a free agent this offseason but the Cincinnati Bengals decided to use the franchise tag on their starting wide receiver. Higgins has been a big part of the Bengals' offense and a top target for Joe Burrow with over 1,000 receiving yards in two of his four seasons in the NFL and 24 total receiving touchdowns.

While the Bengals did use the franchise tag on Higgins, he has yet to sign it and he did request a trade earlier this offseason. However, NFL teams should have an idea by the middle of July if Higgins will be a free agent after this season as that is the deadline for teams to reach long-term deals for players on the franchise tag.

If the two sides don't agree to a new deal, then Higgins will be a free agent as long as the next team doesn't use the franchise tag again. The Buffalo Bills this offseason has focused on adding size to the position in Coleman, Chase Claypool, and Mack Hollins and Higgins would certainly fit that description at 6'4" and 219 pounds.
