On Monday, the Minnesota Vikings reset the wide receiver market by agreeing to a four-year deal worth $140 million with All-Pro Justin Jefferson. The Vikings' former first-round pick was going to be highly sought after if he reached free agency and the Buffalo Bills might have been in the mix.
This year the Bills were not able to do much in free agency in terms of adding talent but used the offseason as somewhat of a franchise reset. They released a number of veterans and decided to trade Stefon Diggs, which resulted in the biggest dead cap hit outside of quarterbacks in NFL's history.
However, the moves this offseason sets them up to make a run at big free agents if they want to after the 2024 season. One of the positions might be at wide receiver to replace Stefon Diggs in this offense. By this time next year the position might not be as much of a concern if rookie Keon Coleman makes an immediate impact or Khalil Shakir takes that next step.
If that doesn't happen, then the Bills could be looking at these four wide receivers who are set to be free agents next offseason.
