D'Ernest Johnson

The final running back is one that the Buffalo Bills could sign to the veteran minimum and be more of a training camp tryout. D'Ernest Johnson played four seasons with the Cleveland Browns before joining the Jacksonville Jaguars for last year.

In five seasons, Johnson has only 182 rushing attempts for 846 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. However, a majority of those career stats occured in four games (one in 2020 and three in 2021) which were the only four games he had double digit carries.

In those four games, he averaged 115 rushing yards per game and had two of his three rushing touchdowns in those games. He has proven when given the chance he can be productive and it doesn't hurt to have a player like that in your backfield.
