AJ Dillon

AJ Dillon was a second round pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2020 and has primarily been a backup or at best a 50/50 split with Aaron Jones. This past season Dillon had his most starts with six total but had less rushing attempts than the previous two seasons.

For his career, Dillon has 597 rushing attempts for 2,428 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns. However, his yards per rushing attempt has gone down every season from 5.3 as a rookie to 3.4 this past year.

Dillon is similar to Edwards in that he is a big running back that can run between the tackles at 247 pounds. However, he has more experience in the passing game with 20 or more receptions each of the past three seasons. This skill set could be appealing to Brady and the offense he runs that makes him another good running back to pair with James Cook.
